Not too long ago, I picked up my first-ever pair of Golden Goose sneakers (and shared them first in this post!), and have been asked a lot about them ever since. So many that I figured I’d dive in and give you a detailed review! I’ve also worn them enough now that I feel like I have a good grip on their quality, and a number of other aspects about them, which you’ll see me go more into detail about.

Where did you score your pair?
I ordered mine from Cettire when they had a limited-time deal going on.
Placed my order on April 28th and they were shipped to me by the 30th, so the shipping was lightning fast – definitely a bonus

These sneakers typically cost anywhere between $410 and $1,700, depending on how detailed they are.
Do they fit as expected?
I found them to fit true to size, at least for me.
Since they don’t stretch and half sizes aren’t available, I’d recommend sizing up.
Are they comfortable?
They required minimal break-in time..
How do they perform over time?
Because they already have scuffs, I didn’t worry about scuffing them more. I’ve worn them all over NYC, and they’ve held up beautifully. No glitter has fallen off, and the leather hasn’t stretched. Thanks to the vintage look, I can’t even tell if there’s new wear and tear.
Do they feel better than other shoes?
Nothing else compares in comfort or quality. I wear Vejas and Tretons too, but Golden Goose still come out on top. They include a built-in arch bump that adds support and height — making your legs look longer. Also, they’re crafted individually, so each pair is custom-feeling. And the glitter on mine? Stunning.
Are they worth it?
Absolutely! Though I suggest looking for a deal. They’re expensive, so getting them discounted is smarter. Still, I think they’re worth a few hundred bucks, especially if you pick something you’ll wear a lot. I chose a loud pair, but a neutral version would also go with everything.

How does the sizing run?
They ran true to size for me — I usually wear a size 6, and I went with a European 36. Since they keep their shape and they don’t come in half sizes, I’d choose the larger option.
Is the comfort worth it?
Very comfy, and only took a few hours to break in.
How do they perform over time?
They look worn from the start, I didn’t worry about scuffing them more. I’ve worn them all over NYC, and they still look great. The laces are intact, and the shape stayed solid.
Because they already look worn, I can’t even tell if there’s new wear and tear.
